PRS Berandau Session in Kapit discuss state issues, political strategy

KUCHING, Feb 14: Some 320 women took part in the Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) “Berandau Session” to discuss on political issues affecting the state at Kapit Civic Centre today.

The dialogue session organised by PRS Women’s wing in collaboration with their Baleh and Pelagus division members, also touched on strategies to popularise the state ruling Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS).

PRS Women chief Datuk Seri Doris Brodie was among the panels at the session, discussing on Sarawak’s rights and roles of women in politics.


The Berandau Session is the fifth edition held in PRS constituencies following four sessions last year. The programme is part of the PRS Women ongoing educational roadshow “Jelajah Kawasan, Sentuhan Kejayaan”.

This year, the programme will be organised in Kakus, Murum, Belaga, Tamin, Bukit Begunan and Balai Ringin state constituencies. — DayakDaily
