KUCHING, Nov 12: Dates for the writ of the election, nomination day, and polling day of the 12th Sarawak Election (PRN12) will be confirmed following a special meeting by the Election Commission of Malaysia (EC) on Nov 24 (Wednesday).
EC secretary Datuk Ikmalrudin Ishak, in a statement today, said the 9am meeting will be chaired by its chairman Datuk Abdul Ghani Salleh.
The discussion, he added, would also include subject matters such as the mode of voter registration to be used and other preparations for this coming election.
A press conference will be held shortly after the meeting. — DayakDaily
