According to a Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) news report, the handover ceremony was conducted by the Gedong District Council, represented by its chairman Farah Sofiya Sharif, during a brief event on Thursday (Jan 15), and was witnessed by Abang Johari, who is also the Gedong assemblyman.
Speaking at the event, Premier’s special representative in Gedong, Datuk Seri Naroden Majais, said the project is part of the Sarawak government’s ongoing efforts to provide quality sports facilities to support youth talent development in the area.
