KUCHING, Feb 24: Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg is welcoming of an offer from digital technology company OpenMove AI Berhad to provide technological expertise in support of the State’s digital transformation agenda.
According to a TVS report, the company’s chairman, Tengku Tan Sri Dato’ Mohamad Rizam Tengku Abdul Aziz, said the matter was discussed during a courtesy call on the Premier at the Satria Pertiwi Complex here today.
He said the meeting allowed the company to outline potential areas of collaboration with Sarawak government agencies.
“We have been advised by the Premier to engage further with the relevant agencies. There is strong potential for collaboration with Sarawak government agencies in advancing their transformation agenda,” he said.
Describing Sarawak as one of the leading states in driving transformation initiatives, he noted that OpenMove AI sees significant opportunities to contribute its locally developed expertise.
“We are keen to share our expertise and work alongside Sarawak agencies in their transformation efforts.
“All the solutions we offer are developed by local professionals and can directly contribute to the State’s development,” he said.
He added that the collaboration would not only support Sarawak’s digitalisation goals but also strengthen the growth of local talent within the technology sector. — DayakDaily
