KUCHING, Sept 22: Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg will announce financing aid to assist food industry players in the State within the next two months.
He said the soon-to-be-introduced loan would allow the food industry entrepreneurs to manage their plans in commercialising their products.
“I will announce within a month or two on how I want to introduce a financing aid from the commercial perspective.
“When you have loan, you have to work hard (and) you have to increase productivity. (When) you get the income, you pay back the loan.
“But there must be a facility that can be extended to those involved in this food industry. I will announce that later,” he said when officiating at the Sarawak Agrofest 2023 held at Celebration Square, Petra Jaya here today.
