On Sukma, Abang Johari said as the biggest sporting event in the country, it also serves as a platform for the younger generation to be exposed to various traditions, cultures, and ethnicities in the country, especially in Sarawak.

According to him, that is the reason why this year’s Sukma has its sports events being held in nine divisions throughout the State.

“Apart from that, the organisation of Sukma also benefit the local economy, particularly for those in the service sectors,” he added. — DayakDaily
