KUCHING, July 6: Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg was paid a farewell visit at his office this morning by Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (STIDC) general manager Datu Hashim Bojet, who is retiring from his position at STIDC.
According to a statement, Hashim began working as a temporary teacher at SK Landeh, Kuching, SK St Andrew, Kuching, and SMK DPHA Gapor, Stampin, Kuching from 1981 to 1986.
He then served as executive officer (Project) at STIDC Kuching for 15 years, from around 1987 to 2002.
Furthermore, he worked as an Economic Affairs officer at STIDC from March 31, 2003 until November 1, 2016 and then as STIDC general manager on October 6, 2018.
Hashim will retire at the end of July. — DayakDaily
