Premier meets GPS MPs to discuss issues in preparation for GE15

KUCHING, Oct 5: Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg met with Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) Members of Parliament (MPs) in Kuala Lumpur last night (Oct 4) to discuss internal issues in preparation for the upcoming 15th General Election (GE15).

According to a statement, the meeting involving all 19 MPs from GPS lasted almost three hours.

Led by GPS Chief Whip, who is also Federal Works Minister, Dato Sri Fadillah Yusof, the meeting is also held regularly each time Parliament convenes for a new sitting to discuss current issues.

Also present were Sarawak State Secretary Dato Sri Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki and Tupong assemblyman, who is also the Chief Political Secretary to the Premier of Sarawak Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman.

Before the meeting started, the GPS delegation had a commemorative photo shoot with the Premier of Sarawak at the same venue. ā€” DayakDaily
