KUCHING, Aug 21: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a significant weather forecast for Sarawak and Sabah, warning of potential heavy rainfall due to wind convergence in these regions.

MetMalaysia’s analysis of weather models indicates that this condition will persist until Aug 24, resulting in increased humidity levels, particularly in the central and southern parts of Sarawak, as well as the western coastal areas, interior regions, and Tawau in Sabah.
