Police permit required to cross from South Zone to other districts, says SDMC

KUCHING, Aug 28: Police permits will now be required for inter-district movement from South Zone to other districts in the State effective today.

Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a statement today said those who wish to make the cross movement must also provide a negative RTK Antigen or rt-PCR test results.


“The results of the Covid-19 swab test can be obtained within 30 minutes for RTK Antigen as well as one to three days for rt-PCR.

“The test results are valid for three days only,” the Committee said.

The South Zone includes Kuching, Bau, Lundu, Samarahan, Asajaya, Simunjan, Serian and Tebedu districts. — DayakDaily
