“Both suspects are remanded for seven days under Section 117 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CPC) from March 24 to 30 to facilitate investigation under Section 39B Dangerous Drugs Act 1952,” he added.

On another note, Mancha disclosed from Jan until March 24, 2024, Sarawak police confiscated RM9.2 million worth of drugs, including RM1.4 million worth of properties.

He said 2,887 individuals were also arrested during the period, including 169 drug pushers. — DayakDaily
