KUCHING, Oct 12: PN today conveyed its appreciation to the coalition’s component parties and partners for their strong support for the leadership of Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
Perikatan Nasional (PN) secretary-general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin asserted the support symbolises that all political parties which support the PN government, are together in facing the Covid-19 pandemic and present economic situation, while at the same time reject any attempt to overthrow the current government.
“PN would like to thank all the top leaders and Members of Parliament from PN coalition parties, as well as other political partners such as Barisan Nasional (BN), Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS), and Sabah United Party (PBS), who have expressed their strong support for the leadership of Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, as the 8th Prime Minister,” he highlighted in a press statement today.
Meanwhile, Hamzah, who is also the Home Minister, pointed out that while Covid-19 is still widespread worldwide, the PN government is fully focused on managing the country’s economy well, and providing the best health services to the people.
He also called on all Malaysians to remain united and to continue to comply with the standard operating procedures (SOPs) outlined by the Ministry of Health (MOH).
