“For civil servants in the upper management category, they will receive a 4 per cent raise in the first phase and a 3 per cent raise in the second phase,” he said when delivering his keynote address during the 19th Civil Service Premier Assembly (MAPPA) broadcast live by Bernama TV today.
Anwar also announced that pension adjustments for civil servants would also be implemented in December 2024, based on adjustments to the retirees’ final salaries.
For non-pensionable army veterans, he said their Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH) would be increased from RM300 to RM500 per month for those who qualify. — DayakDaily
