PKR Sarawak to hold AGM on Sept 14

KUCHING, Aug 22: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Batang Lupar branch will be holding its annual general meeting (AGM) on Sept 14 at Hotel Seri Simanggang in Sri Aman.

The branch’s deputy chairman Saifudin Lebey informed through a media release today that the AGM would also be conducted by all the 32 party branches in the state.

As for Batang Lupar branch, he said the Batang Lupar parliament constituency would involve three state constituencies namely Lingga, Sebuyau and Beting Maro.

Among the agendas to be brought up during the AGM, he explained would be appointment of new office bearers or reappointment of old ones, as well as to exchange ideas on the development of the party.

“We are expecting about 250 party members to attend this Batang Lupar branch AGM. We will also conduct a recruitment at the same time,” he added.

The press secretary to the Minister of Works Abang Zulkifli Abang Engkeh is expected to chair the AGM.

“Since we have won in the federal level, let us not be easily content but continue to fight for our party’s struggle,” he urged.— DayakDaily
