KUCHING, April 8: Pizza Hut Malaysia is offering the brand-new “Spicy Krunch Pizza” — a collaboration with one of Malaysia’s most iconic snacks, Mamee Monster, in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.
With the slogan “Ada Krunch, Lagi Meriah”, the Spicy Krunch Pizza features a stuffed crust pizza with crispy chicken balls and a special spicy sauce served alongside the signature Mamee Monster Black Pepper snack noodle which can be sprinkled all over for a crunch-filled gastronomic time.
Just like how Hari Raya is “setahun sekali” (once a year), this pizza is also a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It is currently offered until April 21.
According to Pizza Hut chief marketing officer Emily Chong, the collaboration between Mamee Monster and Pizza Hut may seem rather unexpected, but she believes that the remarkable combination would be the centrepiece that everyone, regardless of age, would enjoy at “buka puasa” and Hari Raya gatherings.
“Food is more than just nourishment, it is an experience and pizzas are meant to be experienced together. This is why here at Pizza Hut, we consistently work on innovating our pizzas to make every meal for our customers memorable,” she said in a statement issued on April 6.
At the same time, customers with big families can also enjoy the Looooooooong Party Box, which is a one-metre-long pizza that caters for a crowd of 10.
Pizza Hut is also organising a contest where from March 27 until April 13, customers can submit their longest family portraits and stand a chance to win a Raya Looooooooong Party Box kenduri by Pizza Hut.
