LAWAS, June 3: A total of 150 single mothers, people with disabilities (OKU) and senior citizens in Lawas received food and financial assistance from Petronas.
According to a report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), the handover of the aid was held at Lawas District Office on Tuesday (May 31) from 8.30am to 3pm for a total of 100 recipients.
Meanwhile, another 50 recipients have received their assistance earlier from the Lawas District Community Development Department (JKM).
In the meantime, the recipients expressed their appreciation and thanks to Petronas for this contribution which to some extent helped their families’ daily needs. — DayakDaily
