KUCHING, Oct 3: PETRONAS will host an an Oil and Gas Career Day for local graduates and school leavers during the Sarawak Career and Training (SCaT) Fair at the Hikmah Exchange Event Centre from Oct 5 to 6.
According to a media release, the event will feature participation from over 20 leading oil and gas companies, including JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration, Mubadala Energy, PTT Exploration and Production (PTTEP), and Petra Energy Berhad, offering more than 700 job opportunities across various sectors within the oil and gas industry.
Additionally, a line-up of distinguished speakers will share insights on their personal career journeys in the oil and gas industry, along with valuable tips on resume writing, interview techniques, and more.
Visitors and attendees will have the chance to interact with industry professionals, ask questions, and gain essential insights on how to build a successful career in this field.
Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg is expected to officiate the opening ceremony on Oct 5.
This year, PETRONAS is taking a prominent role as a strategic partner by collaborating with the Sarawak Ministry of Education, Innovation, and Talent Development (MEITD) and Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak (TEGAS).
