KUCHING, July 25: Perbadanan Nasional Berhad (Pernas) wants to work with Sarawak government to assist franchises in the State.
According to a report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), Pernas chairlady Dato Hazimah Zainuddin said the organisation is committed to expand the concept of franchisor and franchisee in Sarawak.
“Our target is to develop the franchises industry by searching for more entrepreneurs as well as providing guidance to any local companies that wish to expand their businesses to Peninsular,” she said after paying a courtesy call to Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at Wisma Bapa Malaysia here today.
Meanwhile, Pernas director Dato Abu Bakar As-Sidek Dato Mohd Sidek said among the initiatives done is BizFrancais programme that will take place at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) on July 29.
Also present were Deputy Sarawak Secretary (Economic Planning and Development) Datu Dr Muhammad Abdullah Zaidel and Pernas Sarawak chief Vivisher Gider. — DayakDaily
