BAU, Dec 26: Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) president Dato Seri Tiong King Sing has remained tight-lipped on the ‘approval’ for Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) members to join PDP en bloc.

“Let me try to understand more first and see what is happening, then I will come back to you (reporters).

“I just came back from China. ‘Joint venture’ or ‘marriage’ (merger), we will leave that for later. We will sort it out (first),” he told reporters during a Christmas open house at Bung Konis here today.

He was referring to media reports quoting PSB president Dato Seri Wong Soon Koh, who said the party had received the ‘green light’ for its members, totalling about 80,000, to join PDP en bloc.

“Even marriage also takes time. It cannot be done in one day.

“Don’t worry, when the time comes, I will let you know,” he added. — DayakDaily
