PDP Meluan re-elects Rolland Duat as chairman, backs him to defend seat for GPS

KUCHING, Mar 8: Dato Rolland Duat Jubin has been re-elected to helm the Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) Meluan Division as its chairman for the next term.

According to a news report by Suara Sarawak, this followed the division’s triennial general assembly, which saw the attendance of a record 1,700 members at the Julau Indoor Stadium today.

Jimmy Jarop was appointed deputy chairman, while Andrew Janting, Ama Unan, and Thwaites Geman will serve as vice-chairmen.

As for its Youth and Women’s wings, they will be led by Joannes Jelani and Ida Jais, respectively.

Rolland was also unanimously nominated once again as the Gabungan Parti Sarawak’s (GPS) candidate to defend the Meluan seat in the upcoming State election. — DayakDaily
