PBK names Kenneth Adan as potential Murum candidate

KUCHING, Sept 14: PBK has unveiled Kenneth Adan Silek as its potential candidate for Murum for the next state elections.

Parti Bumi Kenyalang (PBK) president Voon Lee Shan in a statement revealed Kenneth is a Kayan from Sg Asap in the Murum constituency.


“Kenneth is attracted to the mission of Parti Bumi Kenyalang, as the party which could set Sarawak free and potentially become independent.

“It is Kenneth’s mission to give adequate attention to rural development and infrastructure besides paying special attention to education, science, technology and healthcare.”

Kenneth is an engineer by profession and a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

He graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) from Brighton University in England and obtained a Master of Science from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland.

Prior to entering politics, Kenneth gained vast working experience in industry and academic fields, which includes 15 years with Sarawak Shell Berhad in the oil and gas industry and 13 years as a lecturer at Curtin University, Sarawak Campus.

Voon added Kenneth entered politics to speak for the voiceless, the marginalised and to fight for justice, fairness and accountability. — DayakDaily
