KUCHING, Sept 15: Parti Bumi Kenyalang (PBK) is inviting members of the public to participate in their 916 Kuching convoy, tomorrow (Sept 16).
Organised by PBK Southern Zone, its publicity team Chai Kueh Khun said meeting point will be at Curry House in MJC Batu Kawa at 8am.
From there, the convoy will proceed to Tondong in Bau and back to the capital city, ending at Kuching Waterfront.
“We will commence out by 8.45am. We are inviting every Sarawakian who wish to join our 916 Kuching Convoy to be at the assembly point as early as possible.Each participating car will have flags and two car stickers while those who join with motorbikes, big bikes or vesper scooters will be given two bike stickers each,” Chai said in a statement.
Participants are advised to fill up their fuel tank to avoid stopping at gas station which will cause delays.
“Follow the car number sequence and no overtaking to maintain a high level of convoy spirit. Practice good driver etiquette, no throwing of rubbish out the car windows, smile and wave to passer-by, follow the leading car and give one or two horns,” Chai added.
Those participating can only display PBK flag.
He pointed that the objective of the convoy is to organize an “In Quest Of Independence” public holiday excursion. — DayakDaily
