KUCHING, Feb 23: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Women Supreme Council will organise the second edition of the ‘Sarawak Kita Empun’ programme this month, until the end of 2025, as it gears up for the next State Election.

PBB Women chief Dato Sri Fatimah Abdullah said the programme will be held in all PBB branches throughout Sarawak with the first one to begin at Demak Laut branch this Sunday (Feb 25), followed by Simunjan branch next Tuesday (Feb 27).

“The programme will present four main topics namely political landscape development, Post Covid-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030, and two optional topics of choice.

“This is one of the activities that will spread awareness and information related to PCDS 2030 to the grassroots, apart from ensuring that the party continues its service to the community,” she told a press conference after chairing the PBB Women Supreme Council meeting held at PBB headquarters here today.

The first edition of the ‘Sarawak Kita Empun’ programme was launched by Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) chairman and PBB president Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg in 2020.

The programme aims to provide a clear explanation of the latest direction and efforts conducted by the GPS government in an effort to protect and restore Sarawak’s eroded rights. — DayakDaily
