KUCHING, Nov 4: ‘We are ready for election,’ says Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) women treasurer Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali.
Referring to the 12th Sarawak Election (PRN12) that is around the corner, she said PBB and its representatives have always been on the ground serving the people, so there was never a time they were not prepared for an election.
“We are ready. Our wakil rakyat (elected representatives) and PBB have always been on the ground. We have been doing our work, to help the rakyat and everything is done for the good of the State.
“We have been going to the ground and we are ready for the (State) election,” stressed Sharifah Hasidah, who is also Assistant Minister of Law, State-Federal Relations and Project Monitoring.
When probed further whether PBB would hold a meeting this coming weekend to discuss election-related matters, the Semariang assemblywoman denied knowledge of sorts.
“I don’t know (about any meeting). I’m not sure,” she told reporters after officiating the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between Hornbill Networks Consortium Sdn Bhd and Asteel Group for the Semariang Avenue project at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) here today. — DayakDaily
