KUCHING, March 22: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Demak Laut will continue to excel in the future and will work to ensure that the constituency’s development is constantly improving.

According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) today, PBB Demak Laut branch chairman Dr Hazland Abang Hipni said this can be proven in several previous State Election (PRN) and General Election (GE) results.

“The Demak Laut state constituency’s majority of voters understand the political struggle for development that has yielded results over the last ten years.

“This comes after a number of large-scale projects have been completed, including the Bako Bridge, Spektra Housing Project, Sejingkat-Tanjung Bako Bridge Project, Malaysian Fisheries Development Authority (LKIM) Tanjung Bako Depot, and several other projects that will be approved this term,” he said in a statement on Monday.

He went on to say that the same goes for his previous leadership style of focusing on development politics and always looking out for the welfare of the people.

Dr Hazland, Demak Laut State Assemblyman and Sarawak Deputy Minister of Energy and Environmental Sustainability, was re-elected as PBB Demak Laut Branch Head at the General Meeting of the Demak Laut DUN PBB Branch Delegates session 2022 to 2025 on Sunday (March 20).

Meanwhile, Sebli Morsidi and Fatimah @ Rokiah Temben won the position of Head of the PBB Movement for the Demak Laut DUN and managed to retain their position as the Head of the PBB Women’s Movement Branch.
