In a TVS news, PBB Ba’kelalan Branch deputy chief Donnie Erwan Baru said the report was filed against the owner of the account under the name “Kam Agong Lawas Sarawak”, who allegedly defamed Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, Lawas Member of Parliament Dato Henry Sum Agong, and Ba’kelalan assemblyman Baru Bian.

“Therefore, we request the authorities to take firm action against this individual, whose real name is Lawrence Silvaraj,” he said after filing the report.

Also present were Matius Selutan, Stanley Dulamit Bangau, Esem Musa, Devine Seliang, Ahmad Japeri, Marcus Labo, and Charles Labo.

Erwan said the acts are believed to be politically motivated and aimed at tarnishing the image of Lawas leaders.

He added that the posts had sparked anger and could provoke dissatisfaction toward the individual, who is currently in Selangor.

“We urge the authorities to remove all defamatory posts, block the Facebook account, and take strict legal action against this slanderer,” he said.
