After recording zero new cases on Feb 9, cases from the cluster have surfaced over the past four days in Lundu, Kapit, Song and Bukit Mabong.
Recently, the cluster has spread to Subis, a district near Miri division, with 31 positive cases reported there on the eve of the Lunar New Year (Feb 11).

The Subis district was quickly declared a Covid-19 red zone.
Overall, there was an increase of 65 new cases traced to the Pasai Cluster today.
The State Disaster Management Committee in a statement said the State Health Department has identified a sub-cluster called the Tangap sub-cluster from within the Pasai Cluster.
The Tangap sub-cluster is centred on a construction work camp in Subis.
SDMC said the index case of the sub-cluster is Case 4,797 which was identified from symptomatic screening and had gone back to Song district and thereafter had contact with the third generation of the Pasai Cluster in Song.
The committee said a total of 330 individuals from the sub-cluster have been screened for Covid-19 as of noon today (Feb 14) whereby 93 individuals have tested positive including the index case.
