KUCHING, Aug 26: Road users are advised to plan their journeys carefully as a temporary partial road diversion will be in place near RHB Bank, Jalan Simpang Tiga, Kuching, for water pipe repair works from today (Aug 26) until tomorrow (Aug 27).
Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd (Sarawak Metro), in a notice today, informed that the diversion will be implemented over a 24-hour period starting 5pm on Aug 26 until 5pm on Aug 27.
The partial diversion is necessary to facilitate urgent water pipe repair works in the area.
“Road users are advised to be cautious when driving in the area listed above. Please adhere to all traffic management measures, road warning signs, and speed limits, to ensure the safety of road users and construction workers,” the notice stated.
Sarawak Metro also assured that the public would be duly notified of any changes regarding the temporary traffic arrangement.
