KUCHING, Aug 13: A temporary partial road closure will be implemented at Jalan Lapangan Terbang and Jalan Kampung Cemerlang here in the early hours of Aug 15 to facilitate the transportation and launching of a pier cap from the Kuching-Samarahan Expressway to Jalan Lapangan Terbang.
Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd (Sarawak Metro), in a notice posted on its Facebook page today, said the closure will take place from 12am to 4.30am for one day.
Road users are advised to be cautious when driving in the affected areas and to adhere to all traffic management control measures, road warning signs, and speed limits to ensure the safety of both road users and construction workers.
The company will notify the public if there are any changes to this notice and advised motorists to plan their journeys accordingly.
