KUCHING, July 23: A temporary partial road closure will be implemented at Jalan Lapangan Terbang here from today (July 23) until Sept 23, 2025, to facilitate water pipe relocation works, Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd (Sarawak Metro) announced.
The partial closure will be in effect 24 hours daily for two months.
“Road users are advised to be cautious when driving in the area listed above,” said Sarawak Metro in a public notice issued today.
It urged motorists to adhere to all traffic management control measures, warning signs, and speed limits to ensure the safety of both road users and construction workers.
Sarawak Metro added that it will duly notify the public should there be any changes to the notice.
Road users are advised to plan their journeys accordingly.
