KUCHING, Aug 10: Road resurfacing works along the road approaching Batang Samarahan Bridge at Kuching-Samarahan-Asajaya Expressway will be carried out starting today until Aug 15, beginning 8pm.
In an advisory notice, the Public Works Department (JKR) Samarahan Division urged motorists to exercise utmost caution while navigating this route throughout the duration of the upgrading works.
Road users are also reminded to comply with all traffic management protocols in order to ensure the safety of all, particularly due to the anticipated partial lane closures.
Should any adjustments be made to the stipulated timeline, schedule, or changes to the affected zones, the JKR Samarahan Division is committed to delivering timely updates to the general public.
To minimise inconvenience, motorists are strongly recommended to plan their journey to the areas affected by the ongoing roadworks.
