KUCHING, June 26: A partial road closure has been implemented along Jalan Kong Yit Khim (Q596), from KM9+000 to KM10+000 in Sibu, to facilitate flood damage repair works scheduled to run from June 26 to Oct 24, 2025.
According to the Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR), the repair works, referred to as ‘Topping Up Works’, will be carried out daily from 8am to 5pm throughout the duration of the project.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution when travelling through the construction zone.
