KUCHING, July 23: Parking lots at Stutong Commercial Centre here will be closed for six months beginning today (July 23, 2025) to Jan 22, 2026, to facilitate the construction of the Autonomous Rapid Transit (ART) station.
According to Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd (Sarawak Metro), the closure will be enforced 24 hours daily throughout the six-month construction period.
“Road users are advised to be cautious when driving in the area listed above,” the notice stated.
The public is urged to comply with all traffic management measures, road warning signs, and speed limits to ensure the safety of both road users and construction workers.
Sarawak Metro assured that it will notify the public of any changes regarding the closure.
Motorists and visitors are advised to plan their journeys accordingly.
