KUCHING, Sept 25: Sarawak recorded three gold, one silver and two bronze medals on the first day of the tenpin bowling competition at the Para Malaysia Games (Para Sukma) XXI Sarawak 2024 yesterday (Sept 24).
The three golds were delivered by Nur Amalina Mohd Mosadad in the women’s single B10 category, Roni Tugiman in the men’s single B2, and Jacqueline Kaboh in the women’s single B3.
Meanwhile, Marcos Chang Hao Hong won silver in the men’s single P9 category, while compatriot Abang Yusdi Abang Annuar took bronze.
At the same time, another bowler Ho Mei Mei contributed bronze in the women’s single B9.
Taking place at Emart Megalanes Batu Kawa, the para tenpin bowling events are scheduled to continue today until this Friday (Sept 27) with 12 more gold medals up for grabs. — DayakDaily
