KUCHING, Aug 17: Pantu Festival 2023 will be held from August 24 to 27.
According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) today, various programmes and activities have been lined up for the festival, namely a ‘Gendang Pampat’ competition, Ethnic Queen beauty pageant, karaoke singing competition with three categories namely ‘Pantu Idol’, ‘Kilauan Emas’ and preschool category.
First day of the festival will begin with a bazaar sale that will continue throughout the festival to give the local residents the opportunity to sell various types of food as well as handicrafts and other items.
Earlier today, Pantu Festival committee members led by Pantu District Officer Langgong Wasam paid a courtesy call on Sri Aman MP Dato’ Sri Doris Sophia Brodie to invite her to inaugurate the festival. — DayakDaily.
