KUCHING, Aug 22: Miri City Council (MCC) only allows individuals with two complete doses of Covid-19 vaccine to enter buildings and facilities under its jurisdiction, effective this week.
According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communication (Ukas) today, these include the MCC building in Jalan Raja, Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) Miri, Miri Public Library, as well as branches and premises under MCC.
MCC in a press statement on Saturday (Aug 21), also stated that visitors must show their digital vaccination certificate that is available on the MySejahtera application or the Vaccination Card for those who do not have the MySejahtera application to the officer on duty at the entrance.
This is in line with the new standard operating procedures (SOPs) set, together with the additional conditions that are stipulated in the Phase 3 of the National Recovery Plan (NRP). — DayakDaily
