KUCHING, Dec 29: There has been no issue booking AirAsia’s special extra fixed fare flights for the 2023 Chinese New Year celebration at the time of publishing this article, but tickets are definitely selling fast.

After receiving several complaints from readers that they could not book the extra flights, DayakDaily went online to try it out.

Both the website portal and mobile application worked fine. The only downside is that extra flights for certain days have already been sold out despite the promotion being launched just yesterday at 12pm.

After a quick comb through the flights from Kuala Lumpur to Kuching and from Johor Bahru to Kuching, DayakDaily found only six and five flights remaining, respectively, out of 14 available days, as of 4pm.

AirAsia’s special extra flight promotion at fixed fares for the Chinese New Year festive season.

The special extra flights with fixed fares from RM199 also fly from Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru to Sibu, Miri and Bintulu, other than Kuching.

Sarawakians, if you want those tickets, it is advisable to buy them as soon as possible before seats are sold out. — DayakDaily
