No police reports received yet over alleged fake RM100 notes in Bintulu market, says police chief

BINTULU, Jan 16: Bintulu police chief Supt Bartholomew Umpit is urging the public to lodge a police report if they come across counterfeit money.

He was responding to posts by netizens on social media alleging counterfeit RM100 notes were in circulation in Bintulu Market (Pasar Bintulu) today (Tuesday).

He said that thus far, there have been no police reports lodged over counterfeit money, and advised the public here to do so should they come across any.
