KUCHING, Dec 28: New Year’s Eve celebration activities are not allowed in Sarawak, says the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC).
The committee reminded operators of business premises that Sarawak is still in Phase 3 of the National Recovery Plan (NRP) and business operating hours are limited to 12am only.
“Operators of business premises who are found not complying with these instructions may be subject to compounds.
“Enforcement authorities will enhance integrated operations during this period to monitor compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs),” it said in a statement today. — DayakDaily
