KUCHING, June 1: Residents of Rh Unsa Skandis, Sekunyit Lemanak, Lubok Antu had a scare this morning when a landslide occurred near the 24-door longhouse.
They alerted the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) at 8.50am after the landslide happened and a Bomba team was deployed to the location to evaluate the situation.
Upon arrival, the firefighters conducted an evaluation and asked the longhouse residents to cover the affected area with canvas to prevent further erosion.
No injuries were reported during the incident. — DayakDaily
