KUCHING, June 2: Sarawak Governor Tun Pehin Sri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi “ngabang” (visiting) to Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas at the latter’s residence in conjunction with the Gawai Dayak celebration today.
The duo arrived at Uggah’s residence at Jalan BDC around 1.50pm earlier.
They were met by Uggah and his family as well as Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg and his wife Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang, who arrived earlier at about 1.30pm.
Also present were Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Law, MA63, State-Federal Relations) Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali; Deputy Minister of Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development (MYSED) Datuk Ripin Lamat; Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki; and Sarawak Federation of Chinese Associations for Kuching, Samarahan and Serian president Datuk Richard Wee. — DayakDaily
