KUCHING, Mar 2: A viraled picture with an attached email from Ministry of Health Sarawak claiming that the ministry is looking for all passengers onboard an Air Asia flight with a Covid-19 infected person is not true.
The Health Ministry Malaysia through a post on its official Facebook page had denied claims that a female passenger with the infected virus was in Flight AK5651 which flew from Kuala Lumpur to Miri and arrived at 12.07pm on Feb 26.
The fake picture also attached email communications purportedly between the State Health Department and Air Asia, requesting for all passenger details including cabin crews.
The ministry has declared it as fake and advised netizens against circulating and sharing the picture. — DayakDaily
