“Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah also wanted me to help assess the actual cost of projects requested to avoid any issue of overestimation,” she said.

She added that apart from that, she is also responsible for finding ways and means to preserve and further strengthen the existing solid inter-religious racial unity and harmony in Sarawak.

Earlier today, Georgina made a courtesy call to Uggah, who is also the minister in charge of Unifor.

Georgina, who is the former Registrar of Societies( RoS) Sarawak director, assumed her new appointment beginning this month.

She had served in many senior positions in various federal departments and the National Anti-Drug Agency. — DayakDaily
