The two-kilometre coastal embankment, currently in its final planning stage, is expected to boost tourism in the area.

Speaking at an Aidilfitri celebration organised by the Kuala Rajang Service Centre in Belawai on Tuesday, he added that upgrading works at Tanjung Manis Airport have also been prioritised to enhance connectivity and support existing infrastructure in the area.

He stressed that all these initiatives reflect the Sarawak Government’s commitment to ensuring the continued well-being of the people and ensuring they continue to benefit from development efforts.

Meanwhile, Len Talif advised members of the public to channel any issues or complaints through official channels to ensure swift, accurate and effective action could be taken.

He pointed out that strong cooperation between the community and government agencies is important to ensure that information shared is accurate and reaches the responsible parties.

“At the village level, community leaders and local chiefs play an important role as a bridge between the people and the government in conveying any complaints or grievances,” he said.

He further highlighted that the dissemination of unverified information on social media may lead to confusion and could delay the resolution process. – DayakDaily
