KUCHING, July 31: The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) today announced a new cluster dubbed the Kampung Git Cluster after a total of 20 individuals were found positive for Covid-19.
According to SDMC in a statement today, the community cluster involved a few families from one village which is located along KM27, off Jalan Puncak Borneo, near here.
“A total of 41 individuals have been tested and 20 of them were found positive for Covid-19, including the index case, with one new positive case reported today while 21 other individuals were negative,” it said.
The committee added, all of the positive cases from the cluster were brought to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) and the Quarantine and Low-Risk Treatment Centre (PKRC) in Kuching for further treatment and isolation. — DayakDaily
