KUCHING, June 7: Covid-19 vaccination registrants who are unable to be present for vaccinations or missed their appointment will be given a new date automatically.

According to a notice from the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee (JKJAV), these registrants will need to check for their new appointment date through the MySejahtera App or short message service (SMS) after seven days.

The registrants do not have to call the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme’s (PICK) hotline at 1800-888-828 to get a new appointment date.

However, those rescheduling their appointment dates will need to contact the hotline number.

This is to ensure that their original appointment date is cancelled and a new appointment date can be generated through the MySejahtera app or SMS.

JKJAV said rescheduling appointment dates cannot be done at the vaccine administering centre, and changing appointment dates for AstraZeneca vaccine shots is not allowed. — DayakDaily
