KUCHING, Nov 19: Sarawak exported almost eight tonnes of specialty rice to Singapore in October 2023.
According to Sarawak Trade and Tourism Office Singapore (Statos) in a Facebook post on Nov 16, the trade was made possible by Statos between Antares Venture of Sarawak and Far Lee of Singapore.
“This specialty rice is lower in GI (Glycemic Index) and high in protein, Vitamin D, and antioxidants,” it said.
Statos also gave assurance that they will continue to build trade relationships between Sarawak and Singapore.
