National Research and Innovation Agency of Indonesia to study cross border inter-related cooperation between Sarawak and Indonesia

KUCHING, June 9: National Research and Innovation Agency of Indonesia will study the cross border inter-related cooperation between Sarawak and Indonesia.

Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sarawak (ACCCIS) in a statement today, said according to Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Kuching Raden Sigit Witjaksono, the study will form a recommendation for Indonesia Government to consider for further adjustment on cross border policies.

Raden said this when leading delegation from the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Kuching and a research team from the National Research and Innovation Agency of Indonesia to visit ACCCIS yesterday (June 8).


The group was welcomed and given a briefing by ACCCIS president Dato Tan Jit Kee.

Among the topics discussed during the dialogue session were cross-border cooperation, decentralisation, local-central dynamics, people-to-people links, trade and investment, tourism, and Indonesia’s new capital Nusantara. — DayakDaily
