Muslims in Malaysia begin fasting tomorrow

KUCHING, March 22: All Muslims in Malaysia will begin fasting in conjunction with the month of Ramadan tomorrow (March 23).

Keeper of the Rulers’ Seal, Tan Sri Syed Danial Syed Ahmad, said the date was set by the order of Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah after being consented to by the Rulers.

The announcement was broadcast live on Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) earlier tonight. — DayakDaily
