KUCHING, Feb 23: Malaysian Ambassadors to Brazil, Gloria Corina Tiwet, and to the Holy See, Hendy Assan, paid a courtesy call on Deputy Premier of Sarawak Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas at the latter’s office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia here today.
According to a statement, the two Malaysian Ambassadors are paying courtesy calls to various local dignitaries.
Both of the Ambassadors from Bau are highly experienced and have served in a number of countries throughout their careers.
Gloria and Hendy are among the 10 new Malaysian heads-of-mission who received their appointment letters from the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on February 9.
Hendy was the previous Malaysian Ambassador to Uzbekistan, and Gloria was the previous High Commissioner of Malaysia to Nigeria. — DayakDaily
